SJMVS Arts and Commerce Degree College, Moorusavirmath Campus, Hubli was established in June 1997, under  the benevolent blessings and guidance of his holiness, Late Shri Manmaharaj Niranjan Jagadguru Dr. Gangadhar Rajayogindra Mahaswamiji of Moorusavirmath Hubli, and today it is being guided by his holiness, Shri Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Mahaswamiji and it is being run by the eminent and efficient members of the Management.
The college is considered to be one of the leading co-educational institute providing quality education with high grounded ethical values surrounded by holistic atmosphere. Our co-educational college for Arts and commerce is located in the heart of the city with all the facilities and trained and competent faculty capable of training the young minds to meet the challenges of life and how to face the competitive world. To pay attention to both curricular and co-curricular activities for the students many forums are formed like Planning Forum, Arts Forum, Cultural Club, Ladies Association. Literary Club, NSS and Sports Department etc.
Teaching and Examination are being conducted in the college according to the syllabus prescribed by Karnataka University, Dharwad. (KUD)
Our College is affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad (KUD) and is included in 12B and 2F UGC norms, New Delhi.
